Hey, I am Akvile!

Glad that you’ve stopped by to get to know me a little more!

I was born and raised in the northern part of Lithuania, an industrial city called Siauliai.
However my restless curiosity to explore more have led me to Denmark, Copenhagen, where I am living now.
Here I have gotten BSc from Medialogy (not Meteorology) in 2017, as well as recently graduated MSc in Games and Interaction from Medialogy at Aalborg University Copenhagen.

Over the last 5 years I have worked with a multitude of diverse tech projects from initiation to completion. Most of them were mobile and video-games, VR experiences and advanced audio visual productions. I have obtained practical knowledge of human-computer interaction design, user centred design, user research methodologies, game design, computer graphics, fundamentals of programming, and more that you can find in the WORK section.

I am an advocate of research and development based problem solving.
Oodles of passion for technology and human psychology mixed with geeky playfulness and imagination drives me to create experiences that have an impact on users/players.

When I am not glued to the computer screen, running and yoga makes me one happy person.
I also enjoy mindful motorcycle rides, which complement my passion to explore.
When I am back to the screen, I do play games from time to time, my favourite ones are – Firewatch, What Remains of Edith Finch, Journey and The Stanley Parable.

If you think I might be a good fit for your team – lets have a cup of coffee!
